It is a great pleasure to invite you to the second Vision Zero Summit which is held on 11-13 May 2022 in Japan as an online event. The first Summit ‘Rethinking Vision Zero’ was organized in Helsinki, Finland in 2019, and it focused on discussing different aspects of Vision Zero, sharing best practices and lessons learned, and taking collaboration and actions to the next level.  The conclusion of the Summit was that there are many perspectives to Vision Zero and I believe that it is the strength – as we cooperate and co-create the shared journey.

We hoped that the Vision Zero Summit would continue in the future and it is therefore especially great pleasure to write this invitation. The 2nd Summit ‘Redefining Safety, Health and Well-being for the New Normal’ provides an extensive and high-quality programme to discuss and find solutions to the present-day OSH challenges. I warmly thank the Japanese Organization Committee for their important and outstanding work in building this continuum and paving the way forward.

The Vision Zero Summits are part of the Global Coalition for Safety and Health at Work and its Task Group on introducing Vision Zero to workplaces. The Task Group introduces the Vision Zero concept globally to enterprises in a pragmatic way and aims at supporting the implementation of Vision Zero thinking. Vision Zero Summit is an important forum for policy makers, business leaders and OSH experts to come together, share experiences, hear latest research findings, and provide new ideas and perspectives as well as strengthen professional networks.

Welcome to the 2nd Vision Zero Summit and join the discussions with participants from different industries and leading international experts and safety practitioners.
